Taiwan Bulker Owners High on Adding New Capacity    U-Ming Marine Transport Corp., a bulk cargo shipowner, has recently announced to invest some Rmb404mil in building two 83,800 DWT new Panamax bulkers. Actually it is becoming a trend for shipowners in Taiwan to take turns to add new capacity, and the total investment is expected to break Rmb3.6bn. These shipowners are Wisdom Marine Lines Co., Ltd., Sincere Navigation Corporation, and Shih Wei navigation Co., Ltd. It is also reported that some other Taiwan shipowners such as CMT (Chinese Maritime Transport), First Steamship Co., Ltd., Franbo Lines Corporation, Ta-HO Maritime Corporation, China Steel Express Corporation, are now assessing when it will be the right time to make investment.  <CHINA SHIPPING GAZETTE, NOV 28,2012>
